Pamphlets: California State Council of Retail Clerks

The California State Council of Retail Clerks represented workers in food service, department stores, hardware stores, liquor stores, bakeries, and many other retail settings. In the 1940s they represented twenty thousand workers from 42 affiliated local unions.  The pamphlet, designed and illustrated by Patri, tells the history of the retail clerks union using comic book style illustrations.
