UFW Flag

Overview

The black, red, and white UFW eagle logo was designed by Cesar Chavez's brother Richard in 1962 to be minimalist and easily reproduced. Sometimes described as the Aztec eagle, the logo was easy to replicate and incorporate into any materials or setting.

  • How might the flag be used in different settings?
  • How might displaying the flag build solidarity among workers and their supporters?
