Sharing with your Narrator

Follow up with your narrator to share the results of the oral history you created together.  Send them a thank you note with the following files:

  • Audio file (mp4)
  • Transcript (Word or Google Doc)
  • Consent form (PDF)

Turning in your Oral History Assignment

Select Start Assignment to turn in the same three files to your instructor:

  • Audio file:  Select Studio to upload recordings from your library.  Hover over your record and click Select.
  • Transcript:  Select Google Doc to upload the transcript of your interview.
  • Consent form:  Select File Upload to upload the PDF of your signed consent form.

Consent to Share

Remember you only have permission to share a copy of the interview with your narrator, your instructor, and students in your class. Do not share your oral history files with anyone else without requesting permission from your narrator.
