Santa Cruz Strike Support Committee

The first document, "Ways North County can Support the Cannery Strike," is from early in the strike and includes a TDU approved list of actions to support the strike.  It is follow by a letter from the Santa Cruz Strike Support Committee describing the daily needs of strikers and their families.  It asks community members in Santa Cruz County "who believe in fairness and decency in the workplace" to donate to help families through the winter.  It is signed by city council member and future mayor Mardi Wormhoudt, county supervisor Gary Patton, and city council member and future state senator John Laird.
