Source 8.A: The Cardroom at Philippine Gardens

Black and white photograph of the card room in the back of Philippine Gardens, a cafe owned and operated by Rosita Tabasa. Four Filipino men are sitting at the table engaged in a card game. This photograph is part of a series of photographs included in the essay "Watsonville's Filipino Bachelor Community: Frontiers in Asian American Experiences." Anastacio wrote the essay and took the photographs while he was an undergraduate student at UC Santa Cruz.
