Universal Design

We all learn differently, and Library 10 is designed with a variety of learners in mind. The course is designed to be accessible to, and usable by all students, including those who:

  • Have disabilities
  • Have different learning styles and preferences
  • Are multilingual
  • Are new to online learning
  • Are working on a mobile device

Be sure to let me know immediately if you encounter a required element or resource in the course that is not accessible to you.

Accessibility Support Center

The Accessibility Support Center offers many services to assist students with disabilities in achieving academic, vocational, and personal success at Cabrillo College. Veterans may qualify for accommodations. Wounded Warriors may have acquired injuries which through the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) entitle the use of accommodations to ensure equal opportunity.

For more information about resources available for students with disabilities (including assistive technology, accommodations, alternate media, tutoring, and counseling), contact the Accessibility Support Center Links to an external site. (ASC), 479-6379.
