Costs
Costs
The FTES income and department or program expenditures taken together provide the ratio of revenue to expenses or "cost-effectiveness".
You are asked to describe and discuss:
- The ratio of the most recent FTES percent (revenue) to expenditures percent (costs) (e.g., the department generates 1.5% of revenue from FTES and consumes 1.2% of expenditures showing that our department brings in more than it expends),
- Trends in FTES, Expenditures, and Efficiency over time
- Contextual information helpful in understanding your data
- How your department can maintain or improve your metrics
