Module 1: What is Academic and Progress Probation?

Being placed on academic or progress probation can be difficult to accept; however, it is certainly not the end of the road for you. It is not intended to serve as a punishment. It is instead intended to serve as a warning to students so that they might address, and work to overcome, any personal or academic challenges that have caused them to be placed on probation.  In this module, you will learn about Academic Standing and what being on probation means.

What You Will Learn

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

• Identify levels of probation status.
• Understand Academic Standing

What You Will Do

To demonstrate your learning, you will complete the following activities:

• Read/view all module materials
• Learn about academic standing
• Take a Quiz 

After completing the quiz in Module 1, you will be ready to move on to Module 2.
