The Solution? Think Like a Fact-Checker

The remainder of this module will introduce you to a set of strategies that professional fact-checkers use to verify online sources of information.

You will watch a series of short videos (1-4 minutes each) that demonstrate why and how to fact-check sources. The videos feature Mike Caulfield, Director of Blended & Networked Learning at Washington State University Vancouver. He is a widely-known expert in this field.

Hopefully, with these strategies, you will become confident in your ability to quickly and effectively determine which sources are more reliable and trustworthy.
