Once you have learned a bit about your theorist and their impact on the field of Early Childhood Education, write down some keywords that will help you search for relevant information:

  • their name and the names of people they word with (e.g. Magda Gerber and Tom Forrest)
  • organizations they worked with (e.g. Resources for Infants Educators or RIE)
  • issues that interested them (e.g. parent-child attachment)
  • concepts they founded (.e.g the "banking model of education" or the "prepared environment")

Identify 5-10 keywords that are relevant to the ECE theorist you are researching.
