Source 6.A: Letter from Celedonio Florendo to Clemente Florendo Sr., January 1973

A letter to sent to Clemente Florendo Sr. that was written by his brother, Celedonio Florendo. However, the letter is addressed to Maria Florendo, Clemente's wife. Celedonio lists family members and their birth dates, and mentions family photographs that his nephew wishes to see. The letter was sent from Callao Alicia Isabela, Philippines to Watsonville, California. It was written in English.

Source 6.B: Lumin Repays in Uniform

A photograph of Lumin L. Repays wearing a military uniform and standing on a tennis court. The inscription on the back reads, "To John. When the name I write here is dim on the page, And this picture gets yellow with age, Please think of me kindly and do not forget. For wherever I am I'll remember you yet. A friend Lumin L. Repays." This photograph was originally located in John Madio Millares' personally curated photograph album.
