From Research Question to Search Strategy
It can be frustrating if you can't find the "perfect" sources for your research topic. Please watch this brief (2:08) video which captures the challenge of translating your research topic into a successful search and results.
Pay particular attention to the ideas presented on how to choose keywords that best reflect your topic.
Keep in mind also that you may have find multiple sources, and combine those sources, to research a topic. For example, you might find one article that addresses resources for teens at alternative high schools and another that addresses oral health resources for teens. As the video says, good research is about "finding information that helps you form your ideas, and tying it together yourself to make a cohesive argument."
