Science Database

The best place to find scientific research articles is the Science Database Links to an external site..  Use your keywords to focus your search.

One you have identified your keywords, you can combine them in the library databases to do a targeted search.

Search Tips

  • Use the OR to expand your search:   agriculture OR farming
  • Uses the AND to limit your search:  agriculture AND biotechnology
  • Use QUOTES to search an exact phrase:  "food insecurity"

Search Limiters

You can further target your search results by limiting by full text, source type, or publication date.

To focus your results on scientific research articles, limit to source type:  Scholarly Journals.
