One you have identified your keywords, you can combine them in the library databases to do a targeted search.
Search Tips
- Use the OR to expand your search: Latino OR Hispanic
- Uses the AND to limit your search: Latino AND asthma
- Use QUOTES to search an exact phrase: "health equity"
Search Limiters
You can further target your search results by limiting by full text, source type, or publication date.
Now You Try
- Go to Articles & Databases Links to an external site. and select the Science Database or one of the Health Databases, such as CINAHL or PubMed.
- Use your keywords to search for articles.
- Use the limiters to filter your results by year or source type.
- Send yourself at least two articles, including the APA citation.
