Library Collections: OneSearch-2

What is OneSearch?

OneSearch is a tool that allows you to search most of the Library’s databases, ebooks and selected free web sources, at the same time.  It includes the Health & Science databases, as well as many other library collections.  OneSearch works well when you want to access a wide variety of sources -- it is a good tool when starting your research, but it can also be overwhelming.  Be prepared to use the filters to focus the large results list.

Filtering Your Results

Since OneSearch retrieves so many articles from various types of sources, you will want to filter your results using the Refine Your Results sidebar on the left.

  • Filter by Date
  • Filter by Format
  • Filter by Subject

Results in OneSearch for the search "health disparities race" with the filtering options highlighted (date, availability, format, subject)
