Library Databases: What is a Database?

A database is a large, organized, searchable collection of information. The collection could be anything from photographs in a website such as Instagram, books in the Library catalog, or articles available online through the Library’s homepage.

The Cabrillo College Library subscribes to over 30 online databases which offer access to full text articles and other high quality source materials.  These sources are available 24/7 with your Cabrillo/Canvas ID & password.
