Library Databases-6

What is a Database?

A database is a large, organized, and sortable collection of information. The collection could be any type of resource, from books on Amazon, to articles on the Library’s website, to photographs on Instagram.

The Library subscribes to dozens of online databases, most of which offer access to full text articles and other high quality source materials. Most of these resources are not available free on the Internet. You have to go through the Library’s website to use them. If you are off campus, you will be asked to login with your Canvas/Cabrillo login.
