How do you search for health information online?

Keywords 

Identifying keywords related to your research topic can help you focus your search.

Sample Topic:  Health Disparities in Breast Cancer Screening

  • Breast exam, mammography, ultrasound, MRI
  • Low-income, poverty, socioeconomic
  • Insurance, coverage, access
  • Race, ethnicity
  • Rural, neighborhood, access
  • Disparities, inequity, disproportionate

Using different keywords will produce different results.

Google search with these keywords: 
 breast cancer screening race OR ethnicity Google search with these keywords:  breast cancer screening rural access Google search with these keywords: breast cancer screening low-income uninsured
