Background Research
Background Information
To search effectively, you need to know a little about your topic. Identify keywords related to your topic to look for background information. Start with your textbook and class notes.
- Sustainable
- Food industry, food systems
- Emissions, fossil fuels, green house gases
- Farming, fish, meat
As you do your research you will learn more keywords. You may refine your focus to subtopics that have their own keywords:
- Sustainable fisheries, fish industry, fishery conservation
- Indigenous agriculture, indigenous knowledge, ethnoecology
